I. Переведите текст и ответьте на вопросы к нему

The Job Interview.

A job interview is your opportunity to present your talents to a prospective employer. During the interview, an employer judges your qualifications, appearance, and general fitness for the job opening. It is your opportunity to convince the employer that you can make a real contribution.

Equally important, the interview gives you a chance to evaluate the job, the employer, and the company. The interview helps you decide if the job meets your career needs and interests and whether the employer is the kind you want to work for.

Before each interview, though, you should act as if the job you are applying for is the one you want - because it may be. To present your qualifications most advantageously, you have to prepare. You should have the needed papers ready and the necessary information about yourself memorized. And you should know how to act at the interview to make it an opportunity to "sell" your skills.

Собеседование при устройстве на работу-это возможность для Вас показать свои способности будущему работодателю. Во время собеседования работодатель делает составляет свое мнение о вашей квалификации, внешности и общем соответствии будущей работе. Для Вас это возможность убедить работодателя в том, что Вы можете внести свой вклад в общее дело.

Также важно то, что Вы, в свою очередь, имеете возможность оценить работу, работодателя и компанию. Собеседование помогает Вам решить, соответствует ли предлагаемая работа Вашим карьерным планам и интересам, и является ли работодатель тем человеком, на которого Вы хотели бы работать.

Однако, перед каждым собеседованием, Вы должны вести себя так, как будто Вы очень хотите устроится на предлагаемое место, т.к. работа может, действительно Вам подойти.

Чтобы продемонстрировать свою подготовленность наиболее выгодно, Вам нужно подготовиться. У Вас должны быть наготове необходимые документы и нужная информация о себе в голове. К тому же, Вы должны знать, как вести себя во время собеседования, чтобы превратить его в возможность "продать" свои умения.

II. Напишите ответы на вопросы, которые Вам могут задать во время собеседования

1. What type of position are you interested in?- I have good qualifications and many different skills that`s why I`m interested in manager position.

2. What kind of training have you had?-I`ve had some trainings about business organization.

3. Why do you want to work for this company?- Because the job meets my career needs and interests.

4. What do you know about our company?- The company has a good image in our region, and I know, it is one of the biggest companies in our country.

5. Do you prefer working by yourself or in team?- I can work by myself but I prefer working in team.

III. Переведите предложения на русский язык

a) 1. Why don't you go to Mr. Brown for advice? He would tell you what to do, he would help you to make the necessary arrangements. -Почему ты не идешь за советом к мистеру Брауну? Он подсказал бы тебе что делать, он помог бы тебе сделать необходимые приготовления.

c) 1. I would have told you everything frankly, but you were away on business, the boy said to his uncle.- Я рассказал бы тебе все честно, но ты отсутствовал по делам, - сказал мальчик своему дяде.

2. Come to my place this afternoon. The weather is lovely. We could go for a walk. You could enjoy having a walk in the forest, I am sure. - Приходи ко мне сегодня вечером. Погода отличная. Прогуляемся. Тебе понравится гулять в лесу, я уверен.

3. Peter is a good speaker. He would have kept to the subject, but on this occasion he was interrupted all the time and it made his speech too long as a result. - Питер- хороший оратор. IV. Раскройте скобки и поставьте глагол в правильную форму Subjunctive I (сослагательного I), переведите предложения на русский язык
