Abstract.A house built today with materials that smell of the past but aspire to the future.
Consumption reduced to the minimum. A machine that feeds itself with cutting-edge technology. A building that communicates with the context, integrates with the same using natural materials and replicating them in its roof (roof garden).
As a musical instrument, in wood precisely, everything sounds good. Nothing was left to chance and the executive architectural project has not left spaces or margins to errors of construction. The enclosure is efficient from all points of view creating a comfortable temperature and hygrometric climate. And where the envelope is lacking, the machines think about it. Forced mechanical ventilation with dehumidification, radiant floor, photovoltaic panels with accumulations and heat pump.An autonomous machine without gas.

ROVO'S HOUSE - НОВЫЙ СПОСОБ СОЕДИНЕНИЯ С ПРИРОДОЙ
Абстракт. Современный дом, построенный с использованием материалов, которые «пахнут прошлым, но стремятся к будущему».Это дом, расходы в котором сведены к минимуму: «машина», которая питается самой современной технологией»; строение, которое взаимодействует с окружающим его контекстом, интегрируется с природой путем использования натуральных материалов, в том числе воспроизводя их на своей крыше (сад на крыше).
Это музыкальный инструмент, ведь именно в дереве лучше всего звучит музыка! Ничто не было оставлено на волю случая, и исполнительный архитектурный проект не оставил пробелов или полей для ошибок в строительстве.
Это автономная машина без газа. Корпус строения эффективен со всех точек зрения, так как в нём создаётся комфортная температура и гигрометрический климат; использованы инновационные технологии - приточная механическая вентиляция с осушением, излучающий пол, фотоэлектрические панели с накопителями энергии и тепловой насос.

In 2013 a young coupledecides to build the house of their life and arrived in Treviso in a small architectural firm (MM+ Interni e Architetture) with the certainty of finding competence in wooden buildings.
He guitarist and her architect,sensitive to environmental issues,were oriented from the beginning to a buildingwith wooden structure, sureto start off on their own path- towards an ecological, healthy and low energy consumptionliving.
Even the architectural idea was already alivein their thoughts and referred to pure geometric forms, stereometric volumescovered with light marble and wood andothers characterized by dark colored finishes.
There were the premises for achieving their dream: it wasthe moment to turn them into reality.
The building is on two levels. On the ground floor the living area communicates with the external spaces through large windows. Some horizontal cuts frame the landscape from the dining area and verticals introduce a dialogue between the stairwell and the external green spaces. From the large entrance, through a pivot door, you immediately open the view towards the outdoor pool of water lilies, aquatic plants and koi carpthat brings energy and vitality to the whole house. ventilation temperature photoelectric dehumidification
The upper floor can be reached via a metal-clad staircase or via the elevator. Here there are a series of colored doors that lead to the children's rooms, the master bedroom, the bathrooms and the music room that juts out into the garden with a cantilevered volume that appears to rest on the glass.
After obtaining the necessary permits, thanks to MM+job, and with the executive and energy projects, in July 2015the construction site opens and ends at the end of 2016 with the achievement of certification “A class” by Casaclima.
Insulating materials
The Casaclima protocol provides some specific dictates regarding thermal insulation. First of all the continuity of the insulation from the floor to the roof seamless. The certification is very rigorous and begins with the submission to the agency of the executive project which assigned an hypothetical energy class. In the executive project includes all the points considered critical for insulation, the so-called thermal bridges (as for example the ground connection or the insertion of the frame in the building hole).
During the construction phase and in particular in the installation of thermal insulators, the agency sends its own certifier to verify the conformity of material and thickness. The certifier will return to the end of the work for the final test determining the class, known as “blower door test”.
It is a matter of putting, through a fan with an air-impermeable membrane, under pressure the entire building and to check, with the help of some sensors, the anemometer and the thermal camera, how many losses there are to the casing.
In fact, it is known that where there are air leaks there will also be heat losses.
Let's move on to the description of the building: the supporting structure is only in X-lam (or CLT) panels used for external walls and for the floors. The latter left exposed, without plasterboard ceilings, to enjoy the sensations that wood willinfuse. Externally the structures vertical mattes are finished in two different mode. Some surfaces adopt a system of ventilated facade with 14 cm insulating rock wool panels, with external protective black veil. The specific fastening elements, made of plastic material, are fixed directly to the xlam panel and sealed one by one. Then they are taped with certified tape and finally covered by thermal insulation. After this insulating layer there is an empty interspace and then the coatings of slabs in light marble or slats in Okume wood.
The anthracite volumes are isolated with a 14 cm rock wool coat system, ETA certificated. They also deepened the issues related to solicitations wall thermals in the warmer months. The careful choice of components, depending on the index of reflection, allowed to decrease the absorption capacity with a less heat accumulation on the walls of the building and less tensions during the night / day phases guaranteeing the stability of the entire insulating system.
Roof garden
The idea of home for the client was always been associated with the concept of sustainability in the broadest sense of the term. So we decided together to create an hanging garden in the roof giving the last floor an active role creating well-being, not just for those who live in the house, but also for the context that surrounds it. Above the horizontal X-lam wooden panel, the 14 cm insulating layer in XPS and the sheath waterproofing, the elements of drainage and a culture substrate, with a thickness of 8 cm, composed from a mix of volcanic aggregates in different specific quantities and grits - lapilli, pumice stone - as well as a similar organic substance peat. On this ground they were planted different types of Sedum: plants suitable for living in characterized environments from long periods of drought but able at the same time to endure even with low temperatures.
The are many advantages deriving from this technology. In addition to guaranteeing high performance during the winter and summer season, from environmental point of view the building guarantees a considerable reduction also of sound pollution. The choice of flat roof, not shared at municipal level for agricultural areas, was also useful for the installation of photovoltaic, thermal panels and heat pump.
Mechanical and electrical installations
For this villa, in symbiosis with the environment, a system has been chosen that makes the most of the energy supplied by the sun for heating, the production of domestic hot water and the production of electricity.
A water-air heat pump ad inverter is connected to twenty photovoltaic modules installed in coverage with total power of 5.20 kWp. There is also a solar system thermal, consisting of three collectors, connected to an accumulation of 500liters, which allows to produce hot water instantaneously within a low system temperature powered by itself heat pump. The issue of winter heating and of summer cooling takes place through radiant floor panels with dehumidifier. The Casaclima certification provides, for buildings that aspire to the A class, the obligation to install forced mechanical ventilation. In fact, it is known that a very insulated and waterproofed casing, if it is not suitably ventilated, risks the formation of internal condensation phenomena. Condensation due to lack of ventilation is a fertile environment for the reproduction of mold spores. With Zehnder, a leading European company for ventilation, an ideal system has been designed to ensure the removal of the outside air and the intake with suitable temperatures, through adiabatic exchangers. The air is also filtered preventing pollution problems and allergenic pollens. The internal stale air, full of CO2 and humidity, is promptly removed and expelled. In the expulsion it exchanges heat with the incoming one. In fact, it makes no sense to speak of efficient energy classes if, in order to avoid condensation phenomena, the windows are opened. The manual air change in fact guarantees the escape of humidity but also a rapid loss of heat and therefore of energy class.
The power of all machinery installed is exclusively electric renouncing to the connection to the network of gas and any other fuel of fossil origin.
When a dream becomes reality
Consumption prerogatives and techniques employed made it possible to reach the “Aclass” by Casa Clima. This result has not only a symbolic value, but it is recognition of the end of a journey undertaken from the clients, the designers to get an home friend of the environment and of people that will live there.

Conclusion
This experience has allowed us to deepen some aspects of wood construction systems and the certification of thermally and acoustically effective systems from an anti- seismic point of view. The systems made it easy to achieve class A and thermal and hygrometric comfort. To understand how much this can favorably influence life words and stories are not enough, we must try to live there. The aesthetics and proportions make the building more harmonious with the space in which it is inserted. Internal harmony, on the other hand, is given by invisible, intangible factors: tactile, thermal and acoustic sensations that can only be experienced by living.It is trying to achieve excellence in the construction details that can be approached to maximum thermal efficiency.
