Introduction
Tourism is one of the dynamically developing areas of the economy in Azerbaijan, and serious attention is paid to the development of this area in our country. Azerbaijan Tourism and Management University (previously Azerbaijan Tourism Institute), which was established with the aim of training quality personnel for the tourism sector, has always taken into account the importance of training young personnel. Azerbaijan Tourism and Management University (ATMU) was established on December 22, 2014, by order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, on the basis of the Azerbaijan Tourism Institute (ATI), which has been operating since 2006 to carry out qualified personnel training, to gain the status of a center in the field of research and development [9, s.7].
ATMU is a higher education institution in the country that carries out personnel training in the fields of tourism and management. We can also note that the Scientific library has an important role as the main driving force of library- information provision of tourism at Baku State University. Because the literature on tourism in the library's fund is considered one of the main forces that stimulate the scientific development of this field. About the history of the library, we can mention that Baku State University was founded in 1919, and in that year the library, which has an important place in its structure, was organized. (now Azizbeyov) agreed to transfer the library to the university. In the same year, the commission appealed to the Council of the Baku City Oil Industrialists' Congress and requested that the library of the Sabunchu hospital be given to the university. This library was given to the university in 1920. In addition, 120,000 manat books were bought with the money of that time. In the summer of 1920, a medical department with a fund of 212 copies of literature was organized in the library.
In 1920-1922, by the order of the Council of People's Commissars, a large number of literatures was given to the library from separate departments and enterprises, organizations. Among these books, the literature issued by the Political Department of the army should be mentioned. In 1922, the Scientific Council of the University appointed professors F.N. He sent Ilini and P. Y. Rostovtsev to Leningrad to buy books, and they bought and brought back, free of charge, scientific literature worth more than 200 pounds, all publications of the Academy of Sciences. Dean of the Eastern Faculty Prof. R. K. In 1922, the Council of People's Commissars allocated funds in the amount of 7,000 rubles (gold) to create the Oriental department in the library on the initiative of Zhuze; with these funds, more than 2000 books were bought from Constantinople (now Istanbul) in 1924. The Eastern branch started functioning in May 1924. The fund of the library was enriched in the summer of 1924 and reached 24,713 copies. In 1928-1929, the fund of the former Baku French Society, consisting of nearly 1,000 books, was included in the university library.
In addition, a set of Russian magazines consisting of 2000 volumes from the library of the House of Education Workers was given to the library. In those years, professors B. Chobanzade, P. Kh. Juze, Mudrov, D. Chafarov, Tumbel, Rusanova and others donated their personal books to the library fund. The literature collected to organize the university library in 1919-1929 is included in the "Golden Fund", which is considered the honorary fund of the library. Rare, ancient books, including rare copies from the 16th-18th centuries, as well as manuscripts from the 14th-18th centuries, have been collected in this fund. The oldest manuscript dates back to 1308. The fund also includes works of prominent writers, public figures, and scientists published during their lifetime. The scientific library organizes its activities in accordance with the duties arising from the law of the Republic of Azerbaijan "On Library Work" (1999), the university charter, the orders and instructions of the university management. [10].
Common conclusions
In general, the current state of information provision of tourism in the Republic of Azerbaijan, as well as the measures aimed at its development, allow us to assess the country's competitive advantages and disadvantages in terms of the development and promotion of domestic and foreign tourism. One of the main problems facing the tourism sector in the scientific context in the sphere of education in the Republic is the insufficient availability of scientific literature on this field.
Today, tourism information provision system is to research and generalize the ways of creation, formation and development of document-information resources on tourism, to determine the achievements in this field, and on the other hand, to benefit from the previous experiences in order to improve the achievements. In the future, it is necessary to fulfill the following tasks regarding information provision of tourism:
• Researching the characteristics of the creation and formation of primary documents related to the field of tourism in Azerbaijan.
• Investigating the creation, history, development and current state of bibliographic information on tourism.
• Study of the general mass of documents on tourism in the fund of library and information institutions of the Republic.
Unveiling the system of printed bibliographic resources on the field of tourism in our country and providing an analysis of bibliographic indicators (current, retrospective, scientific-assistant, recommendation) on this field.
