Forms of class organization in english lessons

The teaching English to younger students. 3 forms of training which were developed during the period of historical development of pedagogical methods. Joint activity in a team of teachers and students is the initial form of individual learning activity.

The group form of work acts as a motivation for learning a foreign language, increases interest in the subject, shows that a foreign language is a real form of communication, and adds variety to the usual course of a lesson.

The practical experience of teachers shows that group forms of work attract both younger and older students. For younger students, variety, an active, playful form of work, like a role-playing game, dramatization is interesting. For older students - the opportunity to conduct a discussion, to express their opinion. An example of such forms of work can be discussions, conferences, project method.

Practical and theoretical material shows that the use of group work in a reasonable combination with frontal and individual forms of work increases the effectiveness of the educational process.

Group work should take place in foreign language lessons, and not only at the final stages, but also during the entire educational process, since it fully reflects the specifics of the subject of a foreign language and provides maximum opportunities for oral practice. There is a wide variety of types of group work that can be used in the lesson in accordance with the task.

The formation of groups also depends on the tasks that the teacher sets. The group may include students with the same level of training or different, the composition of the groups may change or be constant.

However, this form of work is not used in the modern school in full. Many teachers are afraid to use group work in a regular lesson. But with its proper organization, the educational process will become more diverse, act as a motivation for learning a foreign language.

The above will help the young teacher to make the learning process more effective, exciting and interesting for students.

Modern education is improving with each academic year, it is natural that the process of organizing and conducting the lessons themselves is changing. The teacher is looking for new ways and solutions to prepare more informative and effective lessons.

As a result, we can say that group work as a form of organizing foreign language lessons is only gaining popularity. This form of work is quite effective, but also quite difficult to organize. But progress is moving forward, which means that a more complex, but more interesting form of work will take its rightful place in the educational process.
