The dissertation|thesis| is dedicated to research of the sate of hearing and vestibular function of multiple sclerosisз (MS) patients based on studying a connection between electro-acoustic, vestibulometric and neurophysiological data dependent on the stage, ailment advancement and duration of illness. There have been 100 MS patients studied that had cerebrospinal form with reliable|trustworthy| diagnosis according to criteria of Mc|.Donald (43-male, 57-female|) and 25 healthy|on-grade| persons|personality|. Age of those examined 17-55 years old|Hecht|. Check-ups have been conducted on the basis of | State University «Institute|institution| of otolaryngology named after professor|. O.S.Kolomiychenko of the AMS of Ukraine” and in the department|pulpit| of otolaryngology of NMU named after O.O. Bogomolets.

It is concluded on the basis of researches that according to TPA data 74% of MS patients' hearing is witMSn the limits of normal figures in the conventional frequency range, however 82% of them were observed to have declined hearing (to 55,53дБ) in the expanded frequency range. Only 26% of examined patients have lowering of thresholds of the auditory perceptions in the conventional frequency range as well as in the expanded frequency range. 95% of MS patients have interestingness of stem structures of auditory analyzer and central vestibular disorders of different degree from I to III stages. Based on data from cephalografic research there has been a discrepancy found between severity of VDF according to data of dynamic equilibrium and rotatory stimulation and intensity of static equilibrium disorder in all of MS's degrees. Positive changes' dynamics in patient's state and of vestibular and auditory functions after conducted treatment represent direct dependence on MS's stage and degree of severity.

Corticosteroids pulse therapy usage for MS patients in the stage of exacerbation of demyelinating process|Carbro| has been substantiated and allows|permit| correction of auditory|otopharyngeal| and vestibular function disorders in tMSs group of patients.

Keywords: sclerosis, vestibular dysfunction for MS patients, auditory dysfunction for MS patients, corticosteroids pulse therapy.
