Marketing as the organizational business area that interacts most frequently with the public. The constant invasion of advertisements in all means of communications triggers off people acting in the way publishing companies want them to behave.

The role of marketing

Marketing plays a critical role in the business world today and is central to the success of any business. The important role that marketing and sales personnel play and described them as the true wealth creators and the drivers of innovation. Marketing is the organizational business area that interacts most frequently with the public. At a broader level marketing offers significant benefits to society. These benefits include:
1) Developing products that satisfy needs, including products that enhance society's quality of life;
2) Creating a competitive environment that helps lower product prices;
3) Developing product distribution systems that offer access to products to a large number of customers and many geographic regions;
4) Building demand for products that require organizations to expand their labor force. marketing communication advertisement business
Yet marketing is very much misunderstood and seen by many as a combination of advertising, marketing tricks and `snake oil' salesmen, tricking customers into buying something they don't want. People's behavior can be manipulated for several ways. And, as a matter of fact, advertising has successed in making people to buy stuff they probably do not need. Nowadays, the constant invasion of advertisements in all means of communications triggers off people acting in the way publishing companies want them to behave. The companies buy ads spots on the TV, the radio, the newspaper, the webpage, the blog, etc. And you cannot disregard the fact that it really captures people's attention. People pay attention to the packaging of the products and the location, because these trigger the purchase. For example, if the packaging of a food product is black, nobody will buy it, since blackness conveys the idea of something that you should not eat. And conversely, if the product is packed with a greenish wrapper, people will acquire it as greenness stands for an edible food. Another example is that when the goods are put at the level of potential customers' eyes, people tend to acquire it, whereas if the product is difficult to reach they will disregard it.
It's hard to say which advertisement I liked the most. I seldom watched commercials, because I don't like watching commercials and always switch one channel to another. But one commercial was interesting. This advertisement talked about Coca Cola. It was a very cute commercial and didn't say any word. The advertisement focused on the automat. Well, it should be said that it focused on how to made Coca Cola. The commercial created a world in the automat. There were many creatures living in the automat. When a man tossed a coin into the vending machine, the creatures started to work. Different creature was in charge of different work. Some creatures took out a bottle, some creatures poured Cola in the bottle and put the cap on the bottle, others iced the Cola. When it finished, all of creatures celebrated just like they finished a masterpiece.
