On the question of the "novel-myth" model (J.D. Salinger’s novel "The Catcher in the Rye")
Expressing sharp criticism of the American realities of the middle of the 20th century, the hypocrisy of people, unnecessary stereotypes of religion in the language of a 16-year-old teenager. The use of myth in the novel as a way of modeling Salinger.
