Pejoratives and cognitive metaphor in modern American novel
The problem of cognitive metaphors with a pejorative meaning. The peculiarity of the influence of pejorative vocabulary on the psychological and emotional state of the addressee also contributes to the realization of the speaker's linguistic intentions.
