Russian onomatopoeic verbal interjections. Why use ‘non-words' instead of ordinary ones?

Consideration of such expressive linguistic units as onomatopoeic verbal interjections. Features of the process of transmitting various shades of meaning due to the expansion and displacement of their semantics in the process of historical development.
