System of influence factors on output competitiveness in tire production

SYSTEM OF INFLUENCE FACTORS ON OUTPUT COMPETITIVENESS IN TIRE PRODUCTION

The paper considers problem of forming the system of influence factors on output competitiveness of branch as a base for effective management mechanism of output competitiveness. Three approaches to determine of factors' maintenance and structure in dependence on subject of economic system were distinguished. Necessity of forming the system of influence factors on output competitiveness with branch specific taking into account was proved. There is not the system of influence factors on output competitiveness in tire production. The united system of influence factors on output competitiveness which taking into account the important for modern economic factors was formed. The idea to consider all influence factors on output competitiveness according to the level of manageability by enterprise and to create on this base the management influence on competitiveness was offered. Fully manageable, internal, factors, partly manageable and fully unmanageable external factors were distinguished. The characteristics of this factors in tire production conditions were shown. System of factors must to consider concerning to production and sale conditions and must be individual for tire groups. Advantagable influence of external unmanageable factors was proved. Economic management mechanism of tire output competitiveness must to include the management decisions for internal and external partly manageable factors in conditions of advantagable influence unmanageable external factors.

В статті розглянуто проблему формування системи факторів впливу на конкурентоспроможність продукції галузі як підгрунтя для визначення ефективного механізму управління конкурентоспроможністю продукції. Виділено три підходи до визначення складу та структури факторів залежно від суб'єкту економічної системи. Доведено необхідність формування системи факторів впливу на конкурентоспроможність продукції з урахуванням галузевої специфіки. Виявлено, що для умов шинного виробництва відсутня система факторів впливу на конкурентоспроможність продукції. Сформовано єдину систему факторів впливу на конкурентоспроможність продукції, яка враховує фактори, важливі для сучасних умов розвитку економіки. Запропоновано усі фактори впливу на конкурентоспроможність продукції розглядати відповідно до рівня їх керованості з боку підприємства та формувати на цій основі управлінський вплив на конкурентоспроможність. Виділено повністю керовані, внутрішні, фактори, частково керовані та повністю некеровані зовнішні фактори та охарактеризовано їх зміст в умовах шинного виробництва. Запропоновано розглядати систему факторів відносно умов виробництва та умов споживання продукції, а також індивідуалізувати її залежно від групи шин. Доведено переважний вплив на конкурентоспроможність продукції шинного виробництва зовнішніх некерованих факторів. Визначено, що економічний механізм управління конкурентоспроможністю продукції шинного виробництва повинен містити управлінські рішення з конкурентоспроможності шляхом впливу на внутрішні та зовнішні частково керовані фактори в умовах переважного впливу зовнішніх факторів, некерованих з боку підприємства.

Чернышева Е.М. Система факторов влияния на конкурентоспособность продукции шинного производства

В статье рассмотрена проблема формирования системы факторов влияния на конкурентоспособность продукции отрасли как основа для определения эффективного механизма управления конкурентоспособностью продукции. Выделены три подхода к определению состава и структуры факторов в зависимости от субъекта экономической системы. Доказана необходимость формирования системы факторов влияния на конкурентоспособность продукции с учетом отраслевой специфики. Выявлено, что для условий шинного производства отсутствует система факторов влияния на конкурентоспособность продукции. Сформирована единая система факторов влияния на конкурентоспособность продукции, которая учитывает факторы, важные для современного этапа развития экономики. Предложено все факторы влияния на конкурентоспособность продукции рассматривать в зависимости от уровня управления со стороны предприятия и формировать на этой основе управленческое воздействие на конкурентоспособность. Выделены полностью управляемые, внутренние, факторы, частично управляемые и полностью неуправляемые внешние факторы и охарактеризовано их содержание в условиях шинного производства. Предложено рассматривать систему факторов относительно условий производства и условий потребления продукции, а также индивидуализировать её в зависимости от группы шин. Доказано преимущественное влияние на конкурентоспособность продукции шинного производства внешних неуправляемых факторов. Определено, что экономический механизм управления конкурентоспособностью продукции шинного производства должен включать управленческие решения по конкурентоспособности путем влияния на внутренние и внешние частично управляемые факторы в условиях преимущественного влияния внешних, неуправляемых со стороны предприятия, факторов.

Formulation of problem

System of influence factors on output competitiveness of branch forming allows to determine the effective applied management mechanisms of output competitiveness level and components. It also allows to solve the practical tasks on enterprise, branch and state levels for increasing of output competitiveness.

Analysis of last researches and publications

There are many scientists carried out investigations the determining factors on various levels of economical objects and systems competitiveness in connect with studying, evaluation and managing the competitiveness. The works of such scientists as G.M. Zaharchin, V.O. Koshelenko, O.V. Krivenko, O.V. Kuzmenko, V.S. Marcin, O.V. Miroshnichenko, V.M. Orlova, I.M. Pavlenko, V.A. Pavlova, O.A. Parshina, G.A. Ryzhkova, P.V. Sidun, O.A. Shamoyda, O.V. Yurinec and other are noteworthy.

Three approaches to determine of factors' maintenance and structure in dependence on subject of economic system were distinguished:

- factors are reduplicated for each subject with a certain degree of influence but each level of competitiveness has a dominant factor [1, P. 137];

- competitiveness keeping factors on any level are united beginning of lower levels. Product competitiveness is a factor of enterprise competitiveness which is a factor of branch, region and state competitiveness [2, P. 97, 102];

- product and enterprise competitiveness are determined by different factors but they includes the factors that have influence on both [З, P. 182].

First approach and forming the system of influence factors on output competitiveness of branch are necessary in conditions of output competitiveness determine influence for competitiveness of higher level economic system. They are also necessary in absence of united approach to determine of factors' maintenance and structure.

The Ukrainian rubber tires market is almost unexplored. Investigations the trends and prospects of development the rubber tires market [4], characteristics the crisis situation and it's measures to overcome at JSC “Dniproshina” [5], analysis the Russian tires market with influence factors on tire manufacturers and consumers pointing out [6, P. 32] are noteworthy. There is not the united system of influence factors on output competitiveness in tire production. This is a reason that the domestic tire manufacturers don't have the effective methods of output competitiveness management.

The problems which were pointed out in scientific and practice base in competitiveness management determined the object of paper - to form the system of influence factors on output competitiveness in tire production for further basing of economic management mechanism of competitiveness.

Results

The examined approaches to definition and classification output competitiveness factors helps to systemize existing types of factors in united classification which will take in to account important for modern economic factors (innovative [7, P. 92], environmental [8, P. 149]). It's necessary to distinguish factors by source of origin, sphere of origin, subject of influence, term of influence, direction of influence, level of manageability by enterprise, level of influence, geographic direction of the market, aim of competitiveness evaluation.

Author offers to consider all influence factors on industrial output competitiveness according to the level of manageability by enterprise and to create on this base the management influence on competitiveness (picture 1). Fully manageable, internal, factors are divided on two levels: output level and enterprise level. In tire production the factors of competitiveness on output level are: system forming of marketing mix, high quality of product promotion, non-price competitive advantages (official guarantees, firm's technical service, possibility of keeping the winter tires in summer) [4, P. 113], product price [5, P. 32], components of non-price competition (after-sales service, technical consulting of consumers etc.) in equal price and quality, correlation price-quality [9, P. 23]. On enterprise level there are high energy using of old equipment, high level the depreciation of fixed production assets (60-70%) [5, C. 33]. Factors on enterprise level are compounded and various in time.

External factors are partly manageable and fully unmanageable by enterprise. In tire production there are such partly manageable factors as: average month wage of consumers [4, P. 113], price and experience influence on the tires choice, uncoordinated customers' demands in technical, environmental, economic and service spheres [5, P. 32]; strong competition from Russian, Byelorussian manufacturers, appearance new foreign manufacturers from South-East Asia, increasing the part of TNC official representations in Ukraine [4, P. 113]; attachment to Russian sources of raw material, absence the hole cycle of tire production in Ukraine, strong terms of raw materials delivering, high percents for domestic tire manufacturers comparatively with European [5, P. 32].

Non-manageable by enterprise external factors in tire production are: decreasing of domestic tire production [10, P. 285], automotive mode (seasonal changing of summer tires, growth of second-hand tires import) [5, P. 34], import-consumption character of tire market in hole and in groups [11]; quantity growth of commercial and private transport [4, P. 32] and structural changes in automotive transport demand [5, P. 32]; volume of GIP, rubber tires goods turnover [4, P. 113], energy sources value growth and higher energy value comparatively with Russian and Byelorussian tires manufacturers, import quotes absence for track and agricultural tires, absence the protection measures [5, P. 33-34]; searches for new methods of keeping the tires' safety, reliable and long- lasting (protector picture, structure of rubber mix, parameters of construction, thorn-making technologies), accidence between tires and conditions of roads and weather [12]; minimizing the tires depreciation, prevention the appearance of dangerous rubber dust on the roads, using the natural materials in tire production, reduction resistance for driving [12], environmental safety of tires production and utilization [13, P. 71]; development of local compounding and tires productions, utilization programs in Russia, Russia's joining the WTO [14].

There is a dominant influence of external factors and higher attention of scientists for their investigation. Also factors have a different influence degree and character in output production and consumption spheres. In particular research the new methods of keeping tires' quality will has influence on raw materials delivering, state and characteristics of equipment. Financial sources value will has influence in first on product manufacturing conditions. National income volume, transportation volume, standard of agriculture will have influence on product consumption conditions.

Each kind of tire markets for nomination has own capacity, consumers' behavior, requirements' changes and characteristics etc. It's the reason of individual approach to their investigation. That's the output competitiveness influence factors on each market can be divided on general for market and specific for each tire group.

Effective the tire production competitiveness economic management mechanism forming must be based on management decisions with influence on internal and partly manageable external output competitiveness factors in conditions the advantagable influence of external unmanageable by enterprise factors. It must takes into account the factors' influence on output production and consumption and individual influence for each tire group.

Conclusions

1. Influence factors on output competitiveness classification must be united by signs system and includes important for modern economic innovative and environmental factors.

2. Effective output competitiveness economic management mechanism forming is possible with helps of grouping the factors according to the level of manageability by enterprise.

3. In tire market it's necessary to consider the factors' influence in respect of output production and consumption conditions and specially for each tire group.

4. Effective the tire production competitiveness economic management mechanism must includes management influence on internal and partly manageable external output competitiveness factors in advantagable influence of external unmanageable by enterprise factors and be individual for each tire group.
