Kochia scoparia Schrad is an herbaceous, xerophytic, ornamental plant that belongs to the family Amaranthaceae Juss. In the traditional medicine of China, Japan and Korea, the fruits of Kochia scoparia Schrad are used to the treatment of skin diseases.
