Influence of vegfa gene polymorphisms RS2010963 and rs699947 on clinical and laboratory indicators in diabetic retinopathy among patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus
A key factor in the development of neoangiogenesis in diabetic retinopath in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (DM2) is Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor (VEGF). The important role of VEGFA gene polymorphisms is highlighted by numerous studies.
