The motifs of epidemic and pandemic in the literary and medical discourse of the prose of the United States
To examine the narrative representation of epidemics in literature of the United States, using the methods of narratological analysis and receptive aesthetics. The aspects of epidemic representation in fiction have been studied using literary criticism.
