Ekphrasis in arts and wonders by Gregory Norminton: Giu Seppe Arcimboido and Tommaso Grilli
The origin of Norminton's novel Arts and Miracles and the study of the painting's verbal description. Analysis of the two most significant ekphrasises - Vertumnus and Librarian. Dialectical unity of such aesthetic categories as "beauty" and "ugliness".
