The topos of pain in "The anatomy lesson" by Philip Roth
The features of the narrative representation of the topos of pain in the novel by Philip Roth "The Anatomy Lesson" (1983) are investigated. In depth the mechanisms of artistic conceptualization of pain in literary and medical discourse are traced.
