Проза М. Івченка (семантика, поетика)

Тhe dissertation calls attention to the analysis of the ideological paradigm of intellectual prose of M. Ivchenko, which gave evidence of the gradual movement of the artist to expressing of his philosophic-outlooked and artistic-aesthetic views. The novel «Working manpower» and the tale «In the sun circle» can be considered final in M. Ivchenko's creation work both chronically and conceptually. They interpret the conflict of nature and a man, of the physical and the inner one, of the emotional and the intellectual one so as the most works of the prosaic. The foregoing problems are realized in the texts by the definite composition of signs that allow to add them to the properties of the Ukrainian intellectual prose of the first third of the 20^th century: the author uses the artistic means and methods that are unswerving to the intellectual (not to the emotional) comprehending of the plot of the works, the subject of the novel and the tale has the dialogue form, his outside sheet is of an insignificant importance in the composition of the problem-philosophical outline, the evolution of the characters depends on the conceptual idea of the works completely.

The research of the poetics peculiarities of M. Ivchenko's prose allows underlining the importance of the chronotopos in the artistic system of the writer. The distinguished features of Ivchenko's conception of time-spatial are the discretion, intermittence, concentration of the attention to the episodic, subjective life moment of the man, the antithesis of the domestic measuring and the being one. It is proved that in the functional plan the structure of the time-spatial continuum of the works of writer fulfils a subject role, is the means of embodiment of the ethical-philosophic problems and also is the productive form of the representation of man's private world. But Ivchenko's artistic psychologism is more considerable and complicated. It is the condition of the main artistic method of the writer - impressionism and manifests itself in the different forms and means. So the prose of the author shows the psychologically authentic representation of mental world of the heroes by the demonstration of the inner speech of the characters, by the using of the landscapes and figure-symbols, by the materializing of mental reactions.

Ivchenko's prose came into being on the basis of transition from the traditional esthetic of folk realism to the means of new modern art. The results of research convince that experience of writer's predecessors (M. Kocyubinskiy, V. Stefanik) and contemporaries (A. Golovko, G. Kosinka, V. Pidmogilniy, M. Khvilyoviy), the traditions of home (G. Skovoroda) and world (R. Tagor, F. Nietzsche) philosophic views are the powerful base, on which the artistic world of M. Ivchenko was formed. Ivchenko's creation is the original phenomenon of the Ukrainian culture of the first third of the 20^th century. Writer's prose representates the creative integration of different ideological-artistic conceptions: it has impressionistic lyricism, elements of symbolism, approach to the method of the socialist realism. M. Ivchenko tried to show individuality with his sophisticated private world on the background of the modern reality, giving it in different perspectives - in the ontological, the existential, the social-historical, and the psychological one.
