Functional categories of hedging: diachronic analysis of Russian abstracts
The use of metadiscursive elements in Russian-language scientific articles, including in the diachronic aspect. Hedging as a meta-discursive strategy used by the authors of articles to present their concepts and maintain a dialogue with the reader.
