Building the nation: socialist construction projects in Algeria, 1962-1978
In the article, construction work in Algeria is presented as the most important sites for the spread of Soviet influence in North Africa. Demonstrates the role of youth from Algeria and the Soviet bloc in the implementation of these nationwide projects.
