Brikama Jali Kunda: Griot of Yesterday and Today
An exploration of the art of music and poetry of Jaliba Kuyate, a Griot from Brikama, an important character in Senegambian musical culture. Study of his musical technique, the peculiarities of his use of Griotic poetry to describe modern events.
