Scale-Up of the Downstream Process for Polyhydroxyalkanoate Copolymer P(HB-co-HHx) Extraction with Nonhalogenated Solvents
Study of the extraction of a copolymer of hydroxybutyrate and hydroxyhexanoate (PHA) using acetone and 2-propanol. Analysis of properties of PHA samples. Substantiation of the efficiency of precipitation of the polymer obtained by double extraction.
