Thesis is devoted to the development of constructions of the new executive devices of haulm gathering machine which realizes continuous without support blade cutting of haulm, and also its rational technological and design parameters are defined.

Theoretical researches are devoted to construction of mathematical models of continuous without a shore share of haulm particle and driving of a haulm part on transporting and unloading executive devices. On the basis of the carried out theoretical researches the expression for average force of cutting of haulm particle is received and productivity rotary of the haulm cutting apparatus is analytically defined.

As a result of a numerical modeling on the computer rational constructive and kinematical parameters of a vane blower of the unloading mechanism are analytically defined.

Experimental laboratory and field researches are devoted to the definition of damageability indexes of haulm of sugar beet by the helical conveyor and a vane blower depending on technological parameters of their operation. At carrying out of the field experimental researches the power indexes of the new haulm gathering machine are defined at various conditions of its driving and loading, and also its power consumption transporting and unloading executive devices.

Results of operation tests of the advanced machine testify to necessary quality of execution of haulm harvesting technological process and conformity of qualitative characteristics of harvesting to agrotechnical requirements.

Annual saving rate of utilization of the new three-row haulm gathering machine with installed executive devices of the advanced construction is calculated.

The results of carried out research are worked in practice in the open joint stock company "Ternopil Harvesting Factory", the open joint stock company "Boreks", and also in the open joint stock company "Dnipropetrovsk Harvesting Factory". Engineering novelty of carried out research and engineering developments are protected by the 4 patents of Ukraine (including inventions in the co-authorship with the leading experts of Ternopil Harvesting Factory).
